Welcome to the Joy of the Pen literary journal! Once again, thank you to our sponsors and everyone who entered the competition for making it all happen! The reception was a truly lovely event and we’re looking forward to doing it all again this year! There will be more news on Joy of the Pen 2014 coming soon.

Please note that after careful reflection, we decided to only feature the work of award winners and honorable mentions in this online journal. Our reasoning for this is that many of the work submitted deserves to be entered in other competitions and published elsewhere, and if we published them here then we would be taking that option away from the writer.
